Petit Minou lighthouse is located in the city of Plouzané, on the north side of the Brest straits. It was inaugurated in january 1848.
Made of cemented stones, this cylinder-shaped tower is aligned with Portzic lighthouse, thus showing the route to Brest harbor.
Nearby lies an ancient Navy semaphore tower.
It became fully automated in 1989 and is remotely controlled.
