Brittany Lighthouses pack for Microsoft © FS2004 & FSX

Would you know how many lighthouses can be found on the coasts of Brittany ?
Well, among the 112 ones listed on mainland France, 61 happen to be in this  region.
Brittany scenery by France VFR would not be complete without the most famous ones. They have been modeled with high precision  and are perfect replicas of real ones.
Thanks to Phares et Balises du Finistère for their original plans and photos and to Louis Cozan for his precious advice.

This pack now includes 25 of the most famous Britanny lighhouses. VFR landmarks and/or important buildings are included in this set which will be gradually completed with new models.

From now on, landing pads located on offshore vessels will present pitch and roll movements induced by swell. No more desperately still landing platforms !!.
Stabilizing and landing an helicopter will be more realistic and therefore more difficult !!.

GB and Eire lighthouses set - Fastnet Lighthouse

Fastnet Lighthouse is located in the Atlantic Ocean 11.3 km south of mainland County Cork (Ireland).
It is the second one to be built on the rock and the highest in Ireland.
The new lighthouse was designed by William Douglass and built under the supervision of James Kavanagh. Construction started in 1897.
The famous Fastnet race is a biannual ocean yacht race from the Isle of Wight to Fastnet and then back to Plymouth
