Taureau Castle is located at Plouezoc'h, when entering Morlaix Bay, Finistère district.
A convenient location was found on a rocky island named "Taureau" ( bull), on Plouezoc'h city limits, thus controlling city access by forcing ships to use the only affordable path, at cannon range.
Castle is 60 meters long ( 66 yards) and 12 meters high ( 39 feet)
For three centuries "Le Taureau" took part in Britanny and France history together with Chateau D'If (Marseille harbor), Saint-Malo, city of privateers and Brest arsenal.
