
Penfret lighthouse is located on the northeastern part of Penfret Island , at Glénans archipelago easter boundaries , within Fouesnant city limits.
Completed and opened on Otober 10th 1837.
It is a white pyramidal tower topped by a red lamp house and located within the enceinte of an ancient fort.
It is automated and remotely controlled from Concarneau since April 30th 1993.
