
Nividic lighthouse is located in the western part of Ouessant Island. Erection, started in 1912 was completed in 1936 only.
Energy source originally came from Créac'h lighthouse power plant, an emergency gas equipment being available.
A rough environment made it difficult to maintain, it was therefore equipped with a landing pad.
Nividic lighthouse is presently using solar energy.
