The Grand Phare de Kervilahouen, also named Goulphar lighthouse is one of the most powerful in France.
Designed by Augustin Fresnel it opened in 1836. You must climb a 213 steps granite staircase and a steel one to reach the lamproom which offers a breathtaking point of view on Belle-Ile-en-Mer and the continent, from Le Croisic to Lorient.
