Caradeuc castle is located within Plouasne city limits, Cotes-D'Armor department of Brittany region.

Its 91 acres park , one of the largest in this region , is also part of Saint-Pern and Longaulnay cities.

After WWII, it became a National Park on August 14th 1945. The castle's facades , roofs and service buildings were listed  as  National Heritage sites on February 1st 1978.

The castle and  the park were described as the "Versailles of Brittany" by writer Roger Vercel.
